Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia Faig Guliyev met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Georgia Ali Kaan Orbay

On July 25, 2022, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia Faig Guliyev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Georgia Ali Kaan Orbay.

Ambassador F. Guliyev sincerely greeted the Ambassador of Türkiye at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in the place where the Flag of Azerbaijan is flying in Georgia, and congratulated his dear colleague, Mr. Ali Kaan Orbay, on the occasion of beginning the mission in Georgia. He talked about the close cooperation established between the diplomatic missions of Two States - One Nation, Azerbaijan and Türkiye in Georgia, and expressed confidence in the continuation of these bonds of brotherhood.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Ambassador A.K. Orbay emphasized that after presenting the credentials to the Head of State of Georgia, he made his first courtesy visit to the Embassy of Azerbaijan within the framework of the diplomatic corps accredited in Tbilisi, and said that it was of a symbolic nature. Ambassador A.K. Orbay also expressed confidence that he will always make joint efforts with the Embassy of Azerbaijan from the first moments of his responsible mission in Georgia.

At the same time, the parties exchanged views on the processes taking place in the context of new realities in the region and various issues related to them.
